# Overview

It allows users to vote on proposals that release an action after the voting ends. Custom actions can be made as well. The voting is done in booths. There are two kinds of booths where voting occurs:

1. **Group Booths** - where all ships that are members of an Urbit group can vote.
2. **Ship Booths** - where any other ship invited by the booth owner, through Ballot, can vote.
